Summer Internship

rckonrachel

As a summer intern I learned a little bit of everything while working at Hospitality House of NWNC. I mainly focused on the NeurOptimal(R) brain training system but I was able to meet so many residents and connect with people in many ways outside the system. My favorite memory was meeting a new younger resident. We met at an event and hit it off immediately. They felt comfortable enough to share their story and what they wanted for their future. They even took a liking to a keychain I had, which I ended up gifted them. It was such an easy and natural conversation that brought new perspective to my thinking. I wouldn’t give up my experiences at Hospitality House for anything. Great environment and great people to work with.
